Atmospheric Urban Scenes By Fred Guillaud
Architect and photographer Fred Guillaud takes pictures of city scenes with a minimalist aesthetic. In his works, assumedly bleak and faceless places become artistic settings with a well composed interplay of colours and linearit. “Photography became a tool for me to analyse the parts of architecture that I couldn’t control.” says Fred Guillaud in an interview with lekkerzine. Exclusively analog, his work is shaped as a diary and mainly explores the use and the evolution of urban landscapes through the observation of architecture and its daily life. Fred Guillaud, (France, 1973) is photographer, architect and teacher. After his studies in France and Canada he has settled down in Barcelona where he is living for 15 years now. His photographies were part of our ‘All Inclusive‘ group exhibition in Berlin.
